L Cross is under new ownership, Has opened more trails ( Directional) and cleaned up Motocross track. Anybody interested. Would be nice to feel new owner out about race maybe???

I have not been there since my son sunk my 250r and my wife rolled my sportsman (she spent the next three days in hospital). Sounds like a great idea! I am in! As far as our race, we definitely need a new venue IMO. Sorry I missed the meeting last night. I had a late appointment and two tests.

Randy had said that L Cross has some sort of a mud bog this weekend. Certainly no shortage of mud around....

Let me start over.
I just talked to Tommy Clay from LCross about their facility. They have 8 miles of trail right now and look to add another 3-4. They just had a mud event and he hasn't had time to refresh the trails with arrows and getting it trimmed. So, he is looking to cut and arrow trail at the end of Sept. We have been invited to come out and help on Sat and ride all day Sunday if we want. Camp or do a day trip.
I will be in touch with him in a week or so and will post here as soon as I know something.
Its was ways over there but if it has close to 12 miles of marked trail, I'm in. Stay tuned.

 Went out to LCross this past sunday. Mr. Clay wasn't there, so I just rode all day. Had just a couple wet sections but 95 percent was dry. Good workout, trail has it all, chop, rough, fast In places, tight woods and a long whooped out section that will make your legs burn. Yes, I got my bike muddy. Lots and lots of ftr riders there, we could have had a race if we wanted. Nice palm trees to park under. Motocross was long and pretty safe. |
