At the last club meeting we voted to hold our Annual Christmas Party at Roy's (pending approval) on December 14-15.
It will be a pot luck feast again with members bringing sides and desserts.
Does anyone want to do a Yankee Swap again? We sure got a lot of laughs!
CORRECTION: The party will be held December 6-8. The party will be held Saturday night in the cook shed around 5pm.

Yankee Swap at the Christmas Party
For those that would like to participate in the Yankee Swap here is the low down.
Yankee swap will take place Saturday night right after dinner in the cook shed.
It is not mandatory to participate. If you chose to participate you need to bring a wrapped gift ($10-15). For example if you and your spouse both want to play you both would need to bring a wrapped gift.
Yankee Swap Rules
Each participant is asked to bring along a gift (recommended not to exceed $20.)
Each player picks from a hat a number from one up to the total number of participants. Each person gets a crack at picking a gift according to his or her number.
The person who has the number 1 will select the first gift and open it to show it to the rest of the participants.
Then the number 2 participant picks a gift and unwraps it to show it to the rest of the participants. At this point Number 2 can decide to keep their gift or swap it for Number 1’s gift. Number 2’s turn is done.
Number 3 would then select a gift, open it and show everyone. Number 3 would then decide to keep the gift or swap it for Number 1’s or Number 2’s gift. Number 3’s turn is done.
The game goes on until everyone has had their chance and then the person with Number 1 has the choice to either keep their gift or swap it with anyone else’s gift.
Extra rules in regards to gifts.
Since we did not restrict the swap to adults only, children can participate. Please explain the rules to them and explain that they may not end up with the gift they want by the end of the game. Please use your judgment as a parent to determine if your child will participate. Also, no person under the age of 21 will be allowed to keep or trade for alcohol.
Keep in mind the spirit of the game is to have fun.
